The Neverhood Chronicles

If you like Claymation, Stop-motion, weird or just random stuff, then THIS IS A GAME FOR YOU...jajaja.....

The Neverhood Chronicles a Claymation Style game. Created in 1996 and released by Dreamworks studios, its one of the unique PC games I ever played. With its weird and interesting music, animation and gameplay, its certainly (to me) an awesome experience xD. There are not may claymation style games in the market and most of them went unappreciated. This was probably cause by the the decline of adventure games in the 1990s.

This is Clayman, a ...clayman... lol.. Throughout the game you be guide the character to solve weird puzzles and explore the Neverhood (weird piece of land which floats in space *spoiler*).

Ouch~*

In the beginning of the game, there is no prologue or whatever guide, direction and introduction to the character so alot of questions about the origin of some characters and their roles. All this question will be answered after you experience the game until the end.

Eating too much mushroom cause you to burp for 2 minutes( click for spoiler)

Hall of records.. the longest hall walk ever experience. Took 5 mins just to get to the other end!!

First stage... Where am I? Who is this ? Why there is a giant hammer in the room....?

Bill the robot....

Neverhood intro... just totally, utterly awesomely weird :P

ALU a.k.a computer's common sense

AN interesting assignment came up where my group are required to design an Arithmetic Logical Unit a.k.a computer's common sense.... Using Quartus 2. The programming language VHDL is totally alien compare to the common programming language like C/C++ or java ,As we are design hardware and not software, thus the understanding of the flow is different ( not all of the flow are sequential ) and need to imagine alot how the hardware works and which component to use to construct it ( think like a hardware, be the hardware :P )

To put in simple terms, ALU is a :

• -Translator

( translate instruction( japanese boss) into machine language(worker in some country) that the CPU understand, みましょう食べる translation : Lets eat)

• -Accountant

( calculate stuff, 1+2=3 )

• -QC department

( measure, compare stuff, 9 is bigger than 5)

Using a FBGA board to demonstrate the ALU functions

Few hours before presentation ^^

My GPS?

My GPS, my counsel...

You are close to my side.

You know the path I should take before I even knew.

You reveal the path I should take,

in every junction, in every turn, in various path.

Though you may not show all the turns I should take

and the length of the journey,

but I am secure for I know where is my destination.

Often you whisper us to make a turn or to a direction,

we didn't follow.

As often, you prompt us to make a detour and point us back to our destination.

And never fail to do so.

Lets sing it : Every move I make, I make in You ~~ xD

Glory - Jaeson Ma's new release

Long after his hit single " LOVE" song, comes another release "Glory" on This month xD totally awesome and inspirational!! Gonna keep listening to it for a few weeks!!

DON’T WASTE YOUR LIFE, BUT LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR A PURPOSE THAT IS BIGGER THAN YOURSELF. WHAT ARE YOU LIVING FOR? I’M LIVING FOR THE GLORY. AND GLORY IS NOT FAME, GLORY IS NOT MAKING YOURSELF A NAME, GLORY IS SACRIFICING FOR OTHERS, ITS PUTTING OTHERS BEFORE YOURSELF, ITS FIGHTING FOR A CAUSE WORTH DYING FOR, A PURPOSE WORTH LIVING FOR, TRUE GLORY IS VIRTUE AND IT’S NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN BUY, GLORY IS SOMETHING YOU EARN, HEROS ARE NOT BORN, THEY ARE MADE FOR GLORY.

I’m broken apart

Somewhere on the road

Ten thousand dreams

With no place to go

If you give me a heart

I can give you a soul

The depth of your love

I’ll never know

GLORY

AY-AY

AY-AY

GIVE ME A SIGN

GLORY

AY-AY

AY-AY

I GIVE YOU MY LIFE

SHOW ME THE GLORY, THIS IS WHAT I PRAY, THERE’S GOT TO BE MORE THAN WHAT SEEMS TO EXIST, CAUSE YOU WERE BORN TO GO HIGHER, WE WERE BORN FOR ADVENTURE, SO DARE TO DREAM BIGGER, BECAUSE IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PASSION WORTH DYING FOR YOU HAVE NOTHING WORTH LIVING FOR. DON’T LIVE FOR THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD, THEY ARE PASSING AWAY, BUT LIVE FOR THE GLORY THAT LEADS TO ETERNITY GLORY IS GRACE PERFECTED, AND OUR GREATEST GLORY IS NOT IN NEVER FALLING, BUT IN RISING EVERY TIME WE FALL

I’m broken apart

Somewhere on the road

Ten thousand dreams

With no place to go

If you give me a heart

I can give you a soul

The depth of your love

I’ll never know

GLORY

AY-AY

AY-AY

GIVE ME A SIGN

GLORY

AY-AY

AY-AY

I GIVE YOU MY LIFE

WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND I FEEL THE SUN SHINING DOWN ON MY FACE, I FEEL YOUR GLORY. WHEN I LOOK INTO THE NIGHT AND I SEE THE MOON AND STARS SHINING SO BRIGHT, I FEEL YOUR GLORY. YOUR LOVE IS DEEPER THAN THE OCEANS, MORE POWERFUL THAN THE MOUNTAINS, SHOW ME YOUR GLORY
